Eye problems? The Oxfordshire Minor Eye Conditions Service (MECS) is now available for patients at three local opticians (Boots Wallingford, Robert Stanley Wallingford and Patricia Hayselden Wallingford), as well as many others across Oxfordshire. They can see conditions such as red eye, dry eyes, irritation and inflammation, recent flashes and floaters, foreign bodies in the eye and recent and sudden loss of vision. See here for more details. You need to telephone for an appointment and the qualified optometrist will then be able to deal with your problem or refer you to the eye hospital if necessary.
